It is operated for the Club by the Ontario Society for Crippled Children. Overlooking Lake Ontario, it was built on land donated by the Provincial Government and the cornerstone was laid on December 21, 1948, by Col. George A. Drew, QC, LLD, then leader of His Majesty's Opposition in the House of Com¬ mons and former Prime Minister of Ontario. It was officially opened on November 16, 1949, by the Hon.
