DESCRIPTION (Fig. 33*) : Corps en tôle russe ; sur le devant du corps est fixée une plaque en cuivre qui sert de monture à une des deux lentilles du condensateur. Une deuxiè- me plaque en cuivre avec l'autre len- tille est suspendue par des charnières sur la première plaque ; elle porte quatre colonnes en cuivre poli, sur lesquelles coulisse le porte-objectif et elle est également pourvue d'une petite plaque détachable à ressorts forts pour recevoir les châssis. Un grand miroir en cadre métal est attaché par des charnières au bas de la plaque suspendue sur le devant et maintenu en position horizontale par un crochet fixé sur la plaque porte- objectif. Cettedisposition <)e l'appareil permet la projection horizontale. Projection verticale. On décroche le grand miroir de la plaque porte- objectif, et, en levant le devant de l'appareil, la plaque avec la deuxième lentille du condensateur se trouve supportée par le grand miroir, ce dernier étant placé dans un angle de 45® vers le condensateur. On ferme alors les deux portes latérales à char- nières à l'avant du corps pour empê- cher la lumière de filtrer. SPECIFICATION (Fig. 33 e ) : Body made of Russian iron ; to the front of the body is fixed a brass plate which carries one lens of the conden- ser. To this plate is hinged a second plate with the other lens of the con- denser ; it is fitted with four brass columns on which slides the objec- tive-holder and it also carries a déta- chable stage plate with springs for taking the object to be projected. To the lower edge of this second plate is hinged a large mirror which is held in a horizontal position by a hook fixed to the plate which carries the objective. The apparatus is thus arranged for horizontal projection. Vertical projection. The large mir- ror is unhooked and in raising the stage the mirror is placed in an angle of 45“ to the front of the body. The two swing-doors atlached to the body are lhen closed to prevent any lea- kage of light. The spring stage plate is replaced by a revolving plate with a low square frame which takes the objects to be projected. The angle of the mirror attached to the objective is adjustable by a screw with milled head. Projection of opaque objects. BESCHRE 1 BUNG (Fig. 33 e ): Qehâuse aus russischem Blaublech ; Vorderseite mit Metallplatte, welche die eine Linse des Kondensators trâgt ; daran ist mittels Char- nieren eine zweite Platte mit der anderen Linse des Kondensa- tors befestigt ; auf dieser zweiten Platte ruhen 4 Messingsâulen, zwi- schen denen der Objectivtrâger gleitet ; sie trâgt ausserdem eine abnehmbare, mit Federn verse- hene Platte zur Aufnahme der zu projicirenden Gegenstânde. An der unteren Kante der zweiten Platte ist mit Charnieren ein grosser Spiegel befestigt, welcher durch Anhaken an den Objektiv- trâger in wagerechter Lage gehal- ten wird. Derartig hergerichtel dient der Apparat zur horizontalen Projektion. Vertikale Projektion. Der grosse Spiegel wird ausgehakt und durch Aufrichten des Vorderteils wird der Spiegel im Winkel von 45° zum Kondensator eingestellt. Die beiden seitlichen Thüren vorn am Gehâuse werden geschlossen, urn das Licht vollstândig abzuschlies- sen. Die Platte mit den Federn wird von der Bildbühne entfernt — 26 —
