NEWTON & CO., Ltd., 37, King Street, Covent Garden, W.C.2 905 NEWTON & Co., Ltd. Lantern Slides on ART AND ARTISTS. Owing' to our Specializing in the production of Lantern Slides we are able to turn out a class of work which is unequalled in quality, and as we make use in our London Studios of several private processes (mostly devised by our unrivalled staff) we are able to suit the process to the subject, so that our slides are mostly far superior to the usual trade productions, being clearer, brighter, sharper in definition, more transparent and more artistic. In the same way our painting, being done by a large staff of the finest slide artists of the day, employed exclusively on our work, and using processes invented and perfected by ourselves, is of a class unobtainable elsewhere, and customers who do not mind paying a reasonable price can have paintings most exquisitely and accurately copied for projection with the Lantern. Photographic Prints on paper can be supplied of all the Subjects in this Series which are marked with an asterisk thus *. Sizes and prices on application. BNL ARTISTS AND THEIR WORK. Fgr the convenience of our customers we have endeavoured to classify under the names of the artists the principal pictures we publish as Lantern Slides. The list is by no means complete but we invite correspondence from anyone not finding what they require here, as we are constantly publishing new subjects. • Most of these are copyright, and published as slides solely by us, by arrangement with the owners of the copyrights. For Lectures on Famous Artists and their Work see pages 938 to 941 & 946 to 947- The prices quoted after each subject are for plain Slides. Many of them can be supplied in the finest quality of painting for 9/- to ll/f> additional, and most of them can be supplied in a cheaper quality of colouring at 3/6 to 5/- additional.
