The Eclipse Carrier This Carrier has the advantage over the double-sliding form in that all the slides are inserted and withdrawn from the same side, instead of every alternate one being worked from the far side of the lantern. For a lantern stage of normal size, fitted with 4|in. diameter condenser, and will take slides up to 9 X 12 cms., but this size only in the horizontal position. No. 2. For lanterns with a 6in. diameter condenser, taking slides up to 9x12 cms. either horizontally or vertically. These Carriers enable lecturers to show slides of various sizes without interrupting the sequence of the pictures. No. 1.
