Unlike other catalogues by Radiguet & Massiot, the slides are offered in organised sets; often, a lantern reading with explanation to the slides written by an expert is available (see back cover). The subject of the slide sets vary from scientific knowledge, to art history (paintings and works of art in French museums), to military subjects, sociology, geography and public health. The catalogue is not illustrated. Dating is based on mentioned events in the catalogue.
