REVIEW Into a palace interior came an ensemble of exceptionally pretty girls with a Mneup of ponfes ingenically gowned in the lineup down front, while the show girls were grouped upon the stairway in an attractive stage pletare. Irving Selig, a Ukeable chap in @ modiSed ‘boob characterization, came on with the usual narrative introductory of who was to follow in the characters of comics, ete. a pleasingly plamp ingeaue:~ cate, conntag and vivacious ‘Drunet soubret, and Dolly Rayfield, a statuesque. Deantifal diond prima dovng, came on for in. ividual bombers, and their personal attractiveness supplemented by really good vocalism eatpured the audience for numerous encores. Sam Micals, a typleal stout Hebrew comic with an infectious laugh, and Lew Denny, a live wire straight, held an introductory bouquet and Kissing bit with the feminines to numerocs laughs, Baker and Rogers, formerly of vandeville, are the featured comics. Baker is,short and Rogers: 4 tall, and they both portray the while-lined month, red face, jovial rummy type of tramp comedians who came om by vocalizing Italian ‘opera off stage followed on stage by parodies. on numerous popular songs of the day to several encores, followed by an address to the feminine principals.
