Hie report is the most complete collection of facts on hroal.casting in the United States ever assomhlod. FcFFLSE Wyoming local The Commission this week sustained the recommendations of Examiner Hyde (Report Eoe 372) and denied the application of Sayles & Stewart, Gillete, Wyoming, seeking the construction of a new troadcast station on 1310 kc with power of 100 Watts to opei’ate from six to ten p. mo daily. The grounds for refusal of the con¬ struction permit are based on the iacts the applicants have failed to make a, proper showing of sufficient financial ability to erect and operate the station and the evidence regarding the amormt of available advertising business in the community is indefinite. As an added conclusion the Cornrnission also found the area proposed to be served is now receiving good service from a nimiber of existing stations.
