Therefore, the University Film Association, a professional organization of more than six hundred individuals, institutions, and companies has embarked upon a program to increase the number of scholarships available to students of the art. Any graduate or undergraduate student is eligible to apply for these scholarships, which will be awarded principally on the basis of the student's past work in film production, scholarship, or criticism. Competition will close February 14, 1970.
