Marine De Mos, the beautiful Greek Comedienne, who is being featured by Snappy Company, the new comedy organization that has been organized by a number of local capitalists under supervision and personal direction of Captain Leslie T. Peacocke, claims to be the only girl in the world who has such perfect control of her eyes that she can "do the shimmy" with them and "jazz" them in any direction and at any speed she so wishes. Miss De Mos is lately from Athens, the Greek capital, and is a perfect Grecian type, possessing a superb figure, and is a wonderful dancer and swimmer. She has just completed her first two-reel comedy with the Snappy Comedies Company, entitled "The Tale of a Dog — Wagged by Himself," a whimsical, breezy, snappy original story written and directed by Captain Leslie T. Peacocke. Harry Adams played the male lead opposite Miss De Mos. Supporting her were Elsa Erlicher, Carolyne Wood, Rosa Ringier, Maud Howe, little Dolly Dolls, Robert Chandler, Ralph Crussiant, and the dog, "Patch." "The Tale of a Dog" will have its preview at the De Luxe Theatre, South Alvarado Street, on Monday night, December 6th. Captain Peacocke is arranging to start production on his second comedy for the Snappy Company in about ten days. Frank C. Ketner is behind the camera, and Carolyne Wood is the Art Director and has charge of the costuming department. The office of the company is situated temporarily at 624 South Alvarado Street.
