The resistance Is bnllt up with Individual colls of "Climax" wire and any single coll may be replaced without disturbing any other coll, by simply loosening four set screws. A heavy, perforated sheet steel casing thoroughly protects and ventilates the colls. Terminals and adjustable ■witch are mounted on a nonconducting slate base protected by a sheet steel automatic closing cover. Asbestos covered copper wires connect the various colls with switch contacts, and all connections are solderleas. A convenient handle facilitates handling, especially when Rheostat Is hot. All parts are made with jigs and templets. Insuring lnterchangeablllty. The above Rheostat Is adapted for nil models of Edison Projecting Rlnetoscopes, and for either lio-ian vol tn direct current or Kit-i 10 volts alternating current, and lib to 30 amperes without excessive heating.
