The Lord's Day Alliance who called the attention of tbe Chief of Police to the matter, are taking little part in Ihe affair, probably because of the fact that tbe public condemned their Interference. Tbe proceeds of tbe concert were to have been given to the Red Cross Society, but the latter, presided over by Lady Tiller, have declined to ac- cept any money from any Sunday concerts.
