Greta Nissen is in the leading feminine role in “Blind Alleys,” Paramount picture, whose name suggests it is a Meighan vehicle — which it is. Janet Gaynor, who appears to have gone in for woodpile athletics, began recently in her leading role in Fox Films’ “7th Heaven.” “A Million Bid” -opened March 20 at the Colony theatre. New York, making the fourth picture directed by Alan Crosland to show simultaneously on Broadway. Crosland is a Warner director. Left to right: Josef Swickard, Dolores Costello, Crosland and Warner Oland on the set. Another western star rises — Gary Cooper, proclaimed a star this week by Famous is cast in “Arizona Bound.”
