Mid-West Badly Off Omaha — Approximately one-third of the .smaller theaters in Iowa and Nebraska have been closed, according to A. H. Blank, owner of the First National franchise. He says that if some relief is not secured in a few days the entire territory will have to close down. Omaha theaters have been operating intermittently since November 26th without heat supply. A number of the smaller and neighborhood theaters have shut down until definite relief is secured. Des Moines, last Sunday, was entirely without heat. The theaters re-opened the following day but are likely to shut down any moment. Gloria Swanson Returns Gloria .Swanson is now en route to California to start on another DeMille production.
