—in SCANDAL SHEET THERE is strong drama in " Scandal Sheet." George Bancroft plays the part of an editor of a newspaper who holds that all the news is fit to print. On this principle he wins against the wishes of the newspaper proprietor and even when tragedy touches A his own home. Some of the action is mW hard to believe, but the production as a ^4j whole is notable for the direction by John Cromwell and the perfect work of Clive Brook and Kay Francis. Moreover, the newspaper atmosphere is the real thing in "Scandal Sheet." ,| ■
