On one of Shackelford's trips to Mongolia they had a caravan of 130 camels. And by the way, this spot is only a thousand miles from a railroad. Itelow are the sand dunes on an 8, 000-fool plateau in the Gobi Desert with Roy Chapman Andrews and his camel leader.
