F.4SCI\.\TI.\G YOUTH. (6,582 feet). Stars, .voung students of Paramount school. This is light entertainment, but serves its purpose of introducing to the world the graduates of filmland. It seems to me that Paramount is doing a very wise thing to educate and train these people for the movies of tomorrow; new faces, well-trained men and women, are needed on the screen today. These youngsters perform enthusiastically and joyously. There were some back-stage glimpses of movie life, acompanied by hilarious comedy, mostly contributed by the inimitable Chester Conklin. I believe that everyone will enjoy this picture. Our patrons spoke very highly of it. James D. Kennedy, Apollo Theatre, Indianapolis, Indiana. FINE M.ANNERS. (7 reels). Star, Gloria Swanson. I classify this as cue of her eooi pictures. There is plenty of comedy in this and enough of a story to hold the crowd, and not too much of Gloria. Mollnhan, Grantsville Theatre, Granlsville, West Virginia HE'S .V PRINCE. Star, Ray Griffith. Comedy that pleased, nothing big. Lost money because it is old. I believe. Tone O. K. -Appeal, 50-50. IT'S THE OLD ARMY GAME. (6,889 feet). Star, W. C. Fields. It's the Old Army Game, that Is what it really Is wihen you have to collect money at the window for such mistakes as this proved to be here — it was rotten. Small town patronage. A. Mitchell, Dixie Theatre, Russellville, Kentucky. LADY OF THE H.\REM. Stars, Torrence. Collier. This had a better story than the name would lead you to expoct and ha? some spectacular shots. The cast is good. Don't run it too soon after The Wanderer and don't invite comparisons and recognitions by meRtioning the previous picture in your advertising. Appeal, 75 per cent. Sunday, yes.
