Mr. Schottenfels first made his presence known in the motion picture business in the days of the old Reliance Company in West Twenty-first street, when he was private secretary to J. V. Ritchey, who was at that time the genreal manager of the company. Later Mr. Schottenfels became associated with the Kinemacolor Company of America in an executive capacity, and from that stepped into his present position where he will be watched with interest by his many friends.
