We use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) during our scanning and processing workflow to make the content of each page searchable. You can view the automatically generated text below as well as copy and paste individual pieces of text to quote in your own work.

Text recognition is never 100% accurate. Many parts of the scanned page may not be reflected in the OCR text output, including: images, page layout, certain fonts or handwriting.

MARY FULLER was an experienced actress when the first real photo play ever made was produced in the old Biograph studio. In the company with her at this time were Mary Pickford, Tom Moore, and the rest of the now famous original Griffith cast. Miss Fuller, switching to Edison, then had the distinction of starring in the first big serial in the history of the industry, "What Happened to Mary," and also in the first multiple-reel productions. She was with Universal for several years, and has recently signed with Lasky.
