PICTURE PLAY, Ma?, 1929 Volume XXX Number 3 Photo by Hommel Nancy Carroll and "Buddy" Rogers pair off in "Close Harmony" and show what they can do with music, song, and dance in this story of backstage life written by Elsie Janis, who should know her subject if any one does. Miss Carroll is Marjorie Mcrwin, a dancer in a picture-theater revue, while Mr. Rogers is the leader of a stage orchestra, who sings and exhibits his skill as a musician when he plays separately all the instruments in his band.
