Commercial Exhibits Plans Announced Editor, Reel and Slide: Rules and regulations, and general information regarding the Commercial Exhibit to be held in Milwaukee June 30 to July 3, inclusive, in connection with the annual meeting of the National Education Association, have been issued. The exhibits will be held in MachineryHall, which is directly underneath the main auditorium, where meetings will be held daily. This hall is easily accessible from all parts of the building. The registration, postoffice and information desk will be located in Machinery Hall, opposite the stairs leading to the auditorium. The entrance from Fifth street leads to Market Hall, where a restaurant and lunch room will be maintained during convention week for the convenience of members and visitors. The ceiling in Machinery Mall is 10 feet 2 inches high. There are a number of pillars in this room and it has been impossible to avoid all of them in laying out the space. Asignments will be made on May 26 to all who have filed formal application by that time. Booths will be ready for occupancy on Saturday, June 28, and the exhibit will officially open at 9 o'clock Monday morning, June 30, and close at 6 o'clock Thursday, July 3. The officers of the association have decided that inasmuch as July 4 is a national holiday, coming on Friday, in their opinion it would be to the best interests of the exhibitors, and they feel sure it would meet with their approval to close on Thursday evening at 6 p. m. As this is the first annual meeting of this association since the close of the war, the officers look for renewed interest in the meetings and a record-breaking attendance. There is every indication to sustain them in this belief and we feel sure that the exhibit will meet with as big a success as the convention. We have had a very generous response to our circular of April 30, indicating that the commercial people are going to take a very active part in this meeting.
