50 REEL and SLIDE OPINION W. G. Otto, president J. H. LlNGREN. TREASURER H. R. Williams, clerk Mrs. A. L. Churchill Otto Pearson Bert Rose Consolidated School District No. 54 Floyd E. Cook, superintendent Bruno, Minn. May 6, 1919 Class Publications Co., Chi cago , 111 . Gentlemen : - Reel and Slide Magazine was received recently. I think it is a great magazine, and will be of great assistance to those who are trying to keep in touch with up-to-date films and slides. Also the book ' 'Showing Movies for Profit, ' ' is very valuable in this respect. This school has recently put in a projector, which is being used for educational and recreational purposes. Community meetings are held about onoe_ a week, and we are trying to show some of the best films we can get for the purpose of giving the young people something clean and wholesome to go to. We are trying to build up a stronger community center, and we believe there is no better way to do this than by means of moving pictures. Next year we expect to use it directly in connection with school work. We also have a stereopticon which has been used for lecture work and extension work. Very truly yours, FLOYD E.
