Outstanding was a feminine group organized and trained by Herb Cook; booked by him with Phil Spitalney's "Hour of Charm." Frances (Mrs.) Cook, Fern Griggs and Opal Swalley were the trio — with Mrs. Cook replacing Marguerite Clark, who had sung on WHB with the other two girls as "The Missouri Maids." Photos above and at left show what happens when satins and high heels replace a simple cowgirl costume! FLEMING
