Converging lens — the lens which converges the light on the picture aperture. Middle lens — of a three-lens combination, the lens lying between the arc lens and the converging lens. Frame line — The dividing line between two pictures on a motion picture film which forms the top and bottom respectively of adjacent pictures. Leaders — That piece of blank film attached to the beginning of the picture series.
