Patent auf ein Schaltwerk, bei dem zur periodischen Bewegung des Filmbandes erstmalig das Einzahnrad in Verbindung mit einem vielteiligen Sternrad vorgesehen ist. Amerik. Patent Nr. 586953 (erteilt am 20. 7. 1897). Der Film läuft an der Belichtungsstelle durch eine Bremsvorrichtung mit Regulierschraube. — Möglicherweise wurde das Einzahnrad um iene Zeit schon von Robert Paul in London bei seinen Versuchen benutzt (siehe unter 1896).
