DuPont makes a chemical called Hylene; sells it to manufacturers of Urethane foam: the foam people sell to furniture manufacturers; the furniture makers sell to their dealers and the dealer sells to you and me. Customers Seen and Heard in Key Roles Consumers have an important role in the picture, however. They are shown — candidly — and overheard, while voicing typical demands and complaints. They want mattresses that won't sag and will stand up to the deadly assault of four active kids. 'They insist on longevity, something softer (or firmer), noncrumbling, light weight and resistant to mildew. Of course, the whole point of the film s Benefits, Gels to "The Heart of Comfort'''' is that new Urethane foam made with DuPont Hylene provides all of these things. The Heart of Comfort is designed to be used principally by furniture manufacturers and dealers to show their salespeople the fine points of the new product. It will tell them that Urethane foam is not at all a ""substitute" for foam rubber but a substance with a dozen or more unique qualities not possessed by foam rubber, plus having just about all the good characteristics that have made foam furniture and bedding so popular. Limbo Backgrounds Painted With Light The film is not elaborate in the sense of opulent sets, but it is most attractive and appropriate to its purpose. Limbo backgrounds are skillfully painted with pastel lights to remove all sense of emptiness.
