DIRECTIONS FOR USE The Educational Film Guide, published annually, indexes and describes 16mm films. This 1961 Annual Supplement, which contains 1,321 films, is to be used with the 1954-1958 and the 1959 and 1960 Supplements. Each film is described on the basis of information obtained directly from the main source. Listing of a film does not in any sense constitute a recommendation. This list is divided into three parts as follows: Part 1. Title List. Each film, fully described, is arranged alphabetically by title. Part 2. Subfect Index. Each film is indexed under the subject or subjects covering it The subjects used are based upon Sears List of Subject Headings. Crossreferences to more specific subjects or related subjects arc provided where needed. Part 3. Directory of Main Sovrees. The abbreviations used for the main sources in the alphabetical Title List are given with full names and addresses. A sample entry in the Title List is analyzed below: BOOKS ON THE GO.
