This catalog lists slides and slide sets from the domain of ethnology, geography, history, art and art history, 'tales for old and young', Christian religion, social sciences, medicine en hygiene, geology, technology and natural history. More information about lantern slides can be accessed in the Lucerna Magic Lantern Web Resource at lucerna.exeter.ac.uk The later pages of the scan include supplemental catalogs (Supplement Catalogus), including those prepared by Ivens & Co., a commercial establishment. This catalog includes, in addition to slide descriptions, projection equipment as well.
