Each Lantern can be tilted separately, so that the picture can be con- veniently elevated, and also both pictures made to coincide accurately on the screen. The Lanterns are fitted with 500-watt Lamps, and the special sliding Resistance produces a perfect dissolving effect, one lamp being dimmed out while the other is brought on.
