Originally introduced, as its name implies, for the use of schools and colleges, its great adaptability for either long or short range work has rendered it a most popular intrument in the lecture room or the Church. It is not suited for the very largest halls, for which our Nos. l70, l90, lIOO, l102 or l103 are required, but for distances varying from, say, 20 to 50 feet, it is quite adequate.
