Within recent years the art of chanting has received new impetus by the publication of many newly-edited Psalters, pointed in accordance with natural speech rhythms, and de- signed to rid the Church of the horrible method of chanting alluded to above. All of these records illustrate the new-found beauty of correct chanting, particularly the ones by the London Male Voice Octette, whose chanting is as perfect as chanting can be. VII.
