Moreland and Frank Griswold have both retired from the show business, the former made a fortune with the Main circus camp and stands and is now selling automobiles and Mr. Griswold is look* ing after his fruit ranch. The Forepaugh-Sells Shows are contracted for here early in Septem¬ ber. The Reese Brothers' Ministrels and the. Minnelli Brothers’ Dramatic Company, both playing under canvas- have appeared here this begitf with and plenty of timothy hay, oats, and attention did the work. The performance was especially good, with every act a headliner. The stunts of Spader Johnson evoked a continual roar of laughter, as did those of the many other clowns. The absence of grafters was conspicuous and created much favorable comment.
