We use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) during our scanning and processing workflow to make the content of each page searchable. You can view the automatically generated text below as well as copy and paste individual pieces of text to quote in your own work.

Text recognition is never 100% accurate. Many parts of the scanned page may not be reflected in the OCR text output, including: images, page layout, certain fonts or handwriting.

FOREWORD Since 1948 we have screened and evaluated more than 6,000 films in the field of conservation for film festivals, magazines, and our own personal records. These films were designed as educational aids at the elementary, junior high, and high school levels. The screening of these productions has made it possible for us to select our own critical index of recommended films. It is not a very long list or an exclusive one. It is simply our list. As such we hope it will be of value to teachers as well as to organizations interested in natural and human resources. Audio-Visual Center The Conservation Foundation
