The ease with which a splice may be made, and the time taken, has been considerably improved upon by reducing the number of movements toa minimum. Fitted with an automatic dry scraper so constructed to prevent the excessive scraping of the base after the emulsion has been removed. The trimming of the ends and actual joining are carried out in one movement. A polished oak base fitted with rubber feet to prevent slipping is provided, and the Splicer is held in position by means of special plugs which allow for removal from the block to the Editor Board without further fixing.
