August 2 TCHS THE AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHER ADVERTISEMENTS IX Efficiency Doubled— The New Zeiss Ikon Film, Pernox, Speed H. & D. 2700 (Scheiner 26°), double the speed of Zeiss Ikon ortho ultra rapid ; six times as rapid as normal speed standard film. To double film efficiency was the aim of the creators of this newest production of the Zeiss Ikon works — the world’s high¬ speed ortho film. Speed has not been obtained at the expense of other qualities. Sensitivity to greens and yellows excellent. Grain extremely fine, and therefore specially suitable for miniature cameras. Enormous latitude in exposure. Good gradation. Total absence of halation. Abso¬ lute uniformity. Unexcelled keeping quality. With PERNOX FILM the amateur is, practically speaking, not dependent on lighting conditions, the time of the day, or seasons of the year. He can take snapshots in shade or dull weather with the assurance that good results will follow. More¬ over, for sports pictures necessitating exposures of I /300th second and shorter the Pernox film will give full exposures. Perfect results can be obtained with cameras having slow lenses where formerly under¬ exposed negatives were the rule rather than the exception. Prices, same as our ortho ultra rapid : A. 8 for V.P. negatives, or divided V.P. Is. 2d. B. 2 3^X2£, or divided 3^X2£ . Is. 4d. D.8 4^x2£ . Is. 8d. All the foregoing are 8-exposure spools.
