the frame, the picture would show up quite well on its surface. On the other hand, if a portable screen on rollers is required, this is ideal for the purpose. Here again a black border is a desirable feature, and in this case the most practicable idea would be to sew or glue broad black tape round the edges.

It could be made into a really elaborate affair, complete with curtains ; or on the other hand it might be preferred inconspicuous. And of course a bought screen can be elab¬ orated on in the same way.
