FACTORIES ■ BOOKLrN. NEW TO PARI*. PMANCC OF CALIFORNIA LOS ANGELES. CA1_. August 21, 1?24 Mr. H. J. Boeger, President, Mitchell Camera Company, 601? Santa Monica Blvd., Los Angeles, Calif. My Dear Sir: The David Smith Company has Just finished shooting scenes for "Captain Blood," a twelve-reel super special, in which I used a Mitchell camera on every shot with entire satisfaction. I believe we have a record in that over 500,000 feet of negative was 'exposed without a single scratch or film abrasion. Considering the adverse conditions under which most of the shots were made I feel it to be a'wonderful performance. It is my pleasure to enthusiastically recommend the Mitchell oamera to the profession. Very truly youi;8, Chief Cinematographer Vitagraph Company CV..V <-.
