Text recognition is never 100% accurate. Many parts of the scanned page may not be reflected in the OCR text output, including: images, page layout, certain fonts or handwriting.

THOMAS A. EDISON is gone. And with his passing the American Society of Cinematographers loses one of its most loved and honored members — a loss which never can be replaced. Mr. Edison was the first Honorary member elected to this society, and his keen interest in its affairs was ever an inspiration to its members. To extol Edison is a task far beyond mere man, for words are futile in such an undertaking. Twilight from now to eternity will do more to pay him homage than all the words of our vocabulary, for as daylight fades, millions of his lamps take up the vigil, forming the western boundary of a zone of man-made light, following in the wake of the sun as it encircles the globe and spreading half way 'round the world to meet its return in the east.
