A crackerjack salesman, an able administrator, an inspiring leader, possessing above all a human likable personality and an innate sense of humor, Haskell Masters is a powerful asset to our foreign organization. p OK HK OK OK Walter Gould, division manager for Latin-America, is hapoily recovered from his recent illness, and judging by newspaper clipvings from Buenos Aires, where he is currently visiting, he is once again his old, smiling, handsome self. One of these days, some discerning producer is going to "discover" Walter. FEO OE OOK OK The steamship companies continue to reap a golden harvest as a result of the heavy traffic between London and New York. Recent U.A. visitors from Hngland included Alexander Korda, Murray Silverstone, Sir Connop Guthrie, Stephen Pallos, and Arthur Silverstone. 2K KOR OK OKO The Home Office is preparing a cordial welcome for another overseas visitor in the person of Cecil Marks, general manager in Australia, who arrived in Celifornia Nov. 8, and will accompany Mr. Kelly back to New York. This is the Aussie chief's first visit here in four years, and your Editor, who has long admired Mr. Marks's flair for practical showmanship, is eagerly looking forward to meeting him. Wells arrives in the United States within the next six weeks, he will go immediately to Hollywood and place himself at the disposal of Charlie Chaplin. “hile his two films for Alexander Korda have given the noted author extensive experience in film writing, his trip to the West Coast will add further knowledge in all branches of studio management.
