There are other things, too, that IIq:;er in memory—the notorious misconduct of many who strive to squeeze a fortune through pollnted channels—there are thugs in iall—there are po- licemen, high and low, awaiting trial for per> mittlng graft and crime a tree rein. And there are others who have suffered from the lack ot things. 1910 is dead—let its memories revive liefore 1911 comes around—when the snows cover Coney, let its footprints be seen as a warning. Make a general clean-up gentle- men—deodorize the Bonrery. fill the parks with new novelties, and the summer to come will mean bank accounts for every one. OPEN ON SUNDAY. Palisades, N. J., Sept. 24.—Palisades Amnse- ment Park, here, has closed during the week days, but opens Sundays and captures large crowda who mostly patronize the dancing pa- vilion. The Public Service Railway of New Jersey, has purchased the park and has been lighting bard to wittidsaw the Injunction that haa been tacked upon It forbidding the man- ager to operate the noisy devices after 10:30 P. M., week days, and 8 P. M., Sundays. Owing to the restricted nelehborhood. It la likely that ooless the Injunction Is withdrawn before next year the park win loose consider- able of the concessions, as there Is no bathing at this psrk. . HAD FAIR SEASON. Wheeling. W. Va., Sept. 24.—Wheeling Park, here, closed the season last Sunday. The sea- son Just ended has been only fairly anccessfnl as the Iron and tin mills In the vicinity have nearly all been Idle the whole summer. The park was condncted by the Messrs. Moore. MlUer and Freeman, of Martins F^rry, O.. but they have given op their lease and the park Is on the market now to be leased for next sea- son. It Is owned by the City ft B. O. B. B. Co., of that city. COYLE LEAVES UNIONTOWN. rnlontown. Pa.. Sept. 24.—^When the gates of Shady Grove Park were closed for the last time this season, with the passing of another park term came the announcement that R. S. Coyle. the manager of the resort, wonid not retnm next season. The park will he the prin- cipal picnic ground for Fayette-County Instl- tntions next 3"P«r.
