THE BIOGRAPH sjl WEEKLY GLIMPSE OF THE ACTIVITIES OF BIOGRAPH STUDIOS Published every Saturday by Biograph Company, at 807 East 175th Street, New York City Vol. I Saturday, July 10, 1915 No. 45 UNUSUAL interest attaches to the forthcomingBiograph programs for the regular service. For the past, you know what has been accomplished in the single reel Biograph dramas; the Two Reel Biograph has earned an enviable reputation as a distinctive release; while the Biograph Re-issues are features that need no introduction to the exhibitors. And now comes the Three Reel Biograph, to be released every other Wednesday, beginning with “Under Two Flags” on July 21. For Friday, July 30, “The Battle at Elderbush Gulch,” a two reel Biograph Re-issue, is scheduled for release. This is, without a doubt, the best two reel picture ever produced; the exhibitors and critics are as a unit in agreeing on this. There are now in preparation a strong selection of stories from some of the master writers, authors who heretofore have refused repeated offers for the motion picture rights to their works. Some are cracking good one reel stories, others must command two or three reels; but, whatever the length, all will be produced for release in the regular service.
