There's never any difficulty in deciding which film to use for any particular job. Where the emphasis is not so much on speed as on fineness of grain the film is ILFORD Pan F. When shooting in dull or rainy weather and for all indoor work where you want all the speed you can get — use HP 3. At the same time you'll be surprised at the speed of Pan F and the very fine grain of H P 3 if you ever have to use the same film for both jobs.
