WSHC, using 500 watts operates on a frequency of 1350 kilocycles. Cha.rlottes-ville, Virginia, is 380 miles from Zarephath, Eew Jersey, where WAWZ operates on the same frequency with 250 watts power. The Engineering table of the Commission recommends a separation of 260 miles. The actual mileage between Rome and Orlando is 340 miles while the engineers of the Commission recommend a separa¬ tion of 800 miles.
