"This application", says the Commission, "for renewal of license set down for hearing because of failure of applicant to provide equinment conforming to reuuirements of Commission regulations. No evidence offered in support of application."
ARKANSAS STATION DENIED
In acting on Report No. 399 in the case of three Arkansas stations, the Commis¬ sion upheld Examiner R. H. Hyde in denying a construction permit for a new static:., to Sdm-und G. Hilger, at Little Rock and in granting a license renewal to Station KAHIf. at.,LittlQ Rock, ' The Commission reversed the Examiner hy denying a construction per¬ mit to put new eouipment in KARK and increasing its daytime power from 250 to 500 watts.
The Commission states that there is very little evidence in support of the application of Mr. Hilger for a station license. Ho has not sufficient f'onds for the erection of the station, the Commission finds.
It was found also hy the Commission that there has been a marked improvement in the service of Station KARK since the operation was taken ever hy the present owner. The Commission found no reason for increasing the power of the station.
