CONSTRUCTiOH is to begin within the next few days on the new studios of WLWA (TV) Atlanta. The building, as shown in this drawing, will contain 36,000 square feet of floor space, housing the finest studio and engineering facilities in the South, according to William P. Robinson, president of Crosley Broadcasting Corp.'s newest operation.
Michigan State College, will begin programming in early 1954, according to college officials. The station, on uhf Ch. 60, will have an effective radiated power of 243 kw visual and an antenna 1,000 feet above ground. Studios are to be located on the East Lansing campus with transmitter facilities near the town of Okemos, Mich.
