■ . : v ■ The never-ending search for oil takes men to strange places— even to ocean floors. Here Mobil scientists, the first company team of research geologists trained as skin divers, probe the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico. From their findings have come clues which may lead to the location of new oil reserves to strengthen the Free World — to guarantee you a continuous and abundant flow of the thousands of products made from petroleum to enrich your life. Training geologists as skin divers is but one of Mobil's pioneering methods of exploring new petroleum frontiers in a world where oil is ever more difficult and expensive to find. This progressive policy resulted in the first tapping of off-shore oil reserves out of sight of land — another example of Mobil's master touch in oil.
