Frank Cleaver, formerly vp in charge of programming for California National Productions, joins Vortex Productions as vp. Marilyn Gold, director of promotion for Flamingo Films, N.Y., appointed director of advertising and publicity. B. B. Kahane reelected president of Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
