The stock shot division will draw upon Sterling's two million feet of general film material for sjiecialized backgrounds catering to TV stations. TV producers, advertising agencies, film producers and other film users. SjKM-ial emphasis is being placed on film footage adaptable for sports, news, conmiercials and live show backgrounds.
Cataloging and classification of subject matter has been under way for several weeks anil requests for specific film footage are given immediate attention according to Mr. Carlton. In addition to performing the usual functions of a stock film library, plans are being formulated to service TV stations on a contract basis.
