^^^ INaiiie "Cast" for Dream Picture
^ in a "Sereeninf; Kooni" Prize!
i< The story goes something lii^e this: one evening after a tough day of Rheingold commercials shooting, Don Franz of J. Waher Thompson and Dave Monahan of MPO were having dinner. They were trv'ing to relax but they just couldn't get their minds off film. Out of that conversation came a list of an "ideal" cast and crew of a dream film Franz and Monahan were working on.
It contained names like Morrie Ziduals, the virile leading man; Dolly Inn. the ingenue; 'Arry Flex, an English comic; Otto Focus, the Director of Photography; Marcus Feet, a Shakespearean character actor; Onlo Kayshun, an inarticulate male model; and Otto Sink. the sound man.
There are more, but Franz and Monahan asked for help. So Don Greene, editor of MPO's house publication. The Screening Room. decided to run a contest of sorts. Business Screen readers are invited to take part by suggesting film names that will be selected for the final crew and cast. Winners are promised some kind of a prize — maybe a reel of the worst of last-year's out-takes. We'll publish the full winning list of printable names when the contest is over.
The totally biased judge is the editor of The Screening Room. All his decisions are final unless his wife overrules him. He'll send everyone who enters a souvenir. No official entry forms — write it on the back of an old script, if you have to. Send your entries to The Screening Room. MPO, 222 East 44th Street, New York 17. Contest closes about October 10. ^
