LANE Industries — One of DaOas' newest firms is Century Studios, a subsidiary of Lane Industries, which also is parent company to Producer Services, Inc., and Universal Cine Photo in Dallas. Century began operation in February, 1969, under the direction of ,Iohn Beasley and "Brownie" Brownrigg, both formerly with Bill Stokes Associates. Since the company's inception, Century has completed more than 14 films, 76 commercials and 22 filmstrips. A full-time staff of 16 is headed by Larry Stouffer, director; Mike Freeman, chief cinematographer; and Dick Spraggins, chief editor. Beasley and Brownrigg operate as executive producers sharing administrative and executive responsibihties in a highly complimentary fashion. The key to the quick success of the company can be attributed to the talents and experience of Brownrigg and Beasley coupled with the tremendous creative capabilities of the rest of the relatively young staff. Century provides a complete range of production services from its 4519 Maple Ave. studio location which includes a 100' x 60' sound stage, and a custom-built 8-channel mixing console. Through its sister company Universal Cine, Century can furnish complete lighting and cinematographic requirements for any job. Heading the Century Studios production is "Brownie" Brownrigg, director, here with Lito White. On location for the filming of a Munsingwear commercial for the Lowe-Runkle agency in Oklahoma City, a Century film crew prepares to shoot. PART 2
