FILMING ANITA STEWART FEATURE
Production has been started on "Sowing the Wind," the new Louis B. Mayer First ^^ational attiaction, starring Anita Stewart. It is from the play of the same name by Sydney Grundy. John W. Stahl is directing and Rene Guissart is in charge of the photography and effects.
ROBERT GORDON FINISHING VITAGRAPH SPECIAL
Robert Gordon will complete work next week in the Vitagraph Special now bearing the title. "The Vice of F'ools," for which he was engaged by special arrangement by J. Stewart FUac'kton. Mr. Gordon's contract -with Blackton expires In July.

The international Film Company, releasing through (Cosmopolitan Films, and featuring Marion Davics. has taken offices at I he Bruiiton Studios, and commenced technical work on her new picture. "Buried Treasure."
Direction is under George Baker.
Miss Davies will probably arrive in Los Angeles this week.
BRUNTON SERIAL COMPANY TO GO ON LOCATION
The se\enth episode of Charles Hutchinson's serial. "The Double Adventure," nowbeing produced by Robert Brunton, has been completed, .md work will begin at once on the eighth.
Director W. S. Van Dyke expects to take the company on an extended location trip to San Diego this week.

The Universal Scenario Department announces the purchase of "The Orchid" from the pen of Marguerita C. Storrs. which will serve as a starring vehicle for Carmel Myers; "West Is West," by Eugene Manlovo Rhodes, which will be used for Harry Carey: "'Wniite Youth," by Clara Barringer and Forrest Halsey, and "Black Friday." the novel by Frederick S.
